
Dwight Myers, the rapper known as Heavy D, was laid to rest at the historic Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, New York, on Friday November 18th at 11am. The influential rapper died suddenly at 44-years-old due to complications from pneumonia.
Rev. Al Sharpton delivered a letter that was from President Obama, that read:
